外国人（日本人を含む）ビジネスパーソンがインド渡航の際にビザを取得する場合、主に以下２種類のビザがあります。
- 商用ビザ（Business VISA/”B”ビザ）
- 雇用ビザ（Employment Visa/"E"ビザ）
本記事では、日系企業の皆様の多くからお問合せを頂くことが多い商用ビザについて説明をします。
インド商用ビザの概要
商用ビザは主にインド国内におけるビジネス推進を行う人に対して発給されるビザです。目的別により商用ビザの種類は分類されているため、ご自身がどのビザの種類に該当するのか事前に確認することが必要です。また、最大滞在日数は180日とされており、180日を超える場合は、FRRO/FROへの登録が義務付けられています。

取得時の注意点とは？
商用ビザを取得するにあたり、主に以下２点が注意点として挙げられます。
１）滞在日数
商用ビザを取得するにあたり、注意すべき点の一つが「滞在日数」です。各訪問時の連続滞在期間は180日を超えてはならないと定められており、180日を超えて滞在する場合は、180日以内に関係するFRRO/FRO（外国人登録）への外国人登録が必要となります。通常はビザの券面にもその旨が記載されています。

２）有効期間
有効期間は、ビザ取得から最長5年間とされています。（multiple entry 機能付きの場合）有効期間中であれば、何度でも繰り返しインドへの出入国を行うことが可能です。また、ビザ延長はオンラインにて申請ができます。（延長手続きは、複数年での延長申請は可能であるものの、外国人登録が1年毎に更新をする必要があり、事実上更新単位は1年毎になります。）

Q.3 What is the duration of a Business Visa ? Ans: A Business Visa with multiple entry facility can be granted for a period up to five (5) years or for a shorter duration as per the requirement. A stay stipulation of a maximum period of six (6) months will be prescribed for each visit by the concerned Indian Mission keeping in view the nature of the business activity for which such Business Visa is granted.
インド拠点を立ち上げる際には、商用ビザで訪問可能ですか？
インドにおいて、各種法人や拠点を設立する前の出張活動は商用ビザにて滞在可能です。拠点立上げの目的の場合には4年以内もしくは当初に発給されたビザの期間のいずれか短い方を期限として立上げを完了する必要があります。期限を過ぎた場合に延長も可能ですがその場合でも、立上げ拠点の売上が年間1千万ルピーを超えている必要があります。
